Villa Natta's history goes back to the sixteenth century. In its early days, it was a convent, after which a noble family from Como lived there.

The horseshoe layout with two long wings encloses the garden which over looks the valley, and the magnificent frescoed rooms allow you to emerge yourself in the historic atmosphere of the mansion.

Frescoed room.

The frescoed living room of the B&B dates back to the 16th century. Mythological characters like Apollo and Hercules are represented, along with the Natta family crest on the fireplace.

The mansion

Another little fresco, which shows how the mansion really was in the 16th century, is found in the corner of the living room and depicts the Italian garden and Nimpheaum.

We adopted this fresco for the label of our wine "Reale di Romazzana"
